My bandmate Molly Jewell will be joining me for the UK dates, and I’ll be hitting the Continent solo.  We have a new live cd available only at the shows for now, later in the year it will be available online – but for now only on tour.  Hope to see some new and old friends out there…

I grew up in Woodbury, Tennessee.  Most of my family lines all trace back to the first days settlers moved into this area.  I have only had the chance to play a few times back home.  That’s my Grandpa and Grandma Simmons in Cannon County years ago:

I am taking off Oct 8th for my Fall 2014 Europe/UK Tour.  I’ll begin with solo shows in The Netherlands, Norway, UK & Ireland over the next month and then meet up with my band from Nashville in Germany for a week of shows.  I am excited to have all of them with me for the first time (this will be my 10th tour across the Atlantic).  My good buddy and guitar player Dave Coleman will stay with me through the end of the tour.  And we’ll be home in time for Thanksgiving! 🙂
